The answer.. NOW. They started taking them now. I just received this information from a facilitator that I trust. And I have heard from a couple other families they are hearing Dec 19 is the start date.

THEY ARE TAKING NEW DOSSIERS NOW.

The Ukraine government is still behind on getting appointments scheduled for the already approved families. So the SDA supplied the following guidance on new dossiers.

Your dossier must contain documents that are less then 6 months old. Dossiers are only good for 1 year. So the SDA is saying that families who submit dossiers now will have completed their adoption by June 2007.

And since married families take priority over singles... If single families want to adopt a child now, they can only submit dossiers for children 7 years or older.

But the BEST NEWS.. Bill number 2562 which would have prevented singles from adopting was voted down. The Rada did this at the same time they rejected the Hague Adoption Treaty.
