I sent an email to adoption@ukremb.com (Ukrainian Embassy in Washington DC’s adoption section) and asked how many post adoption reports they had for my daughter.

Now in the past I have waited 2 weeks to 6 months for a reply. I received a reply within a few hours.
I filed post adoption reports for 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2005. You do 1 report per year for 3 years. Then you do a report every 3 years. I filed the report in 2005 because my adoption faciliator asked me to.
Anyway, the Ukrainian embassy replied that they were missing a report for 2003. So now I have to dig it up. They were very nice about it.
Turns out I had one of the missing reports.
Please feel free to email me at adoptukraineblog@adoptionmail.com to vent or to share information… How can we get more post adoption reports in when some parents don’t know they owe them?
