more questions

I want your opinion. What topics do you want to read about?

Do you like my blogroll? Want to see it organized in a different manner?

I haven't mentioned anything about the summer hosting programs failing to get visas for the Ukrainian orphans. Want to hear my thoughts and suggestions?

I am single. Want to hear more about adopting as a single parent?

I have focused on Ukrainian politics and parliament and adoption laws. Bill 2562 was vetoed. And Parliament is slowly dissolving which will completely kill the bill. After the September 30 elections, if Parliament is still interested in trying to pass this bill they would have to start over; first reading, second reading, President's signature, published in parliament newspaper. I will keep tracking this situation.

SPONSOR

I will be writing one (maybe two) blogs about corruption and Ukrainian adoption. I have defined corruption and written about the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. Do you have any specific questions?

I write some post adoption blogs like Love Thursday - Playing on the Driveway. Are you interested in more blogs about the post adoption challenges?

Do you want to see more "getting started" blogs like:

If you have read my blog for a while, you know that I love statistics. While I don't think numbers provide an answer. They provide a framework in which the answer can be understood. Do you want me to dig up more statistics on Ukrainian adoption?

I continue to help my daughter's Ukrainian orphanage. I haven't talked about the specific projects and successes since October 2006. I could write a couple of blogs about this. And I can point out ways for you to help other Ukrainian orphans.

I have a writer's notebook. And when something interests me I write it down. Because of this I have several unfinished blogs. Let me know which ones interest you.

I am working on several blogs about adopting teenagers. One unfinished blog is titled "How to teach teenagers hygiene". The blog will include a description of the average orphanage hygiene habits.

Another unfinished blog is titled "How to find Ukrainian adoption news". This is about the various news sources that I use.

I have a really sad blog titled "Adoption is a Risk". archaeologistmom gave me permission to reprint and share her story. Her child's mental retardation could have been prevented.

I have a blog titled "Ukrainian Adoption Disruption". This will include all the facts that I know and my sources.

"Adopting Special Needs Child" from Ukraine. This is mostly a blog about other blogs.

I have started a blog about Georgy Gongadze. He was a Ukrainian journalist who was killed shorter before I traveled to Ukraine in 2000. This would be a blog for the About Ukraine category.

As always you can post a comment or send me an email at adoptukraineblog@adoptionmail.com.

Hope to hear from you.

Hi!
I'd love to see a really big blog roll even going back to adoptions completed several years ago, also a list for singles blogs etc!
As a single adoptive parent I try and soak up as much information as I can adopt single adoption. I was a single foster mom too so have some experience, but it is especially nice to hear about other singles like myself adopting and parenting!

Thanks for asking! I have really been happy to discover your blog this month, and now look for your posts first- I think my husband's reading, too.

Because I'm just getting started, I love the info pertaining to that. I've been scouring all the bloggers here to get more clues especially about the motivation behind people's choices. I love having this resource- like taking all types of adoption folks to coffee!

The process fascinates me, including the statistics. Have you written about how you chose what your priorities would be? (How did you know the Ukraine was for you? etc.)

All of those in the works look interesting, and YES! the post-adoption updates are neat to read, too.

Thanks for posting.

Angela,
Selfishly since my wife and I are in the process of adopting a 14 year old daughter, I'd like to hear about other's experiences after arriving home, and the challenges/lessons learned.
Thanks for all you do ! ! !
If all continues to go as we hope, she will be home with us in early September.

I'd like to learn more about corruption and Ukrainian adoption. I also think that could be a great service to our readers.

How to help Ukranian orphans would also be great information to have.
