I learn something new every day.... I didn't realize that Love Thursday had a
flickr group. Thanks for the information
Jenna.
Love is letting the cat groom your hair and enjoying it.
Intelligence is knowing when to stop the grooming. Notice the position of Natasha's hand. Sometimes Jenks (the cat) will move from grooming to chewing. It is much easier to stop the chewing, if she is already holding a paw.
Jenks joined our family at 3 days of age. He will be 2 years old in September 2007. He is a super sweetie.
Jenks came into our lives because I felt very sorry for a young teenager. She was standing at the front door of a grocery store. It was a Friday night around 10pm. She looked miserable and was holding a laundry basket.

The basket contained 3 kittens whose eyes were still closed. Kittens' eyes don't open until they are about a week old.
This young teenager had decided to "rescue" these "poor animals". She found them on a sidewalk and just scoped them up. She was miserable because she couldn't keep the kittens. Her mom wouldn't let her. And she was responsible for finding
some poor sucker someone to "adopt" them.
Now I know a few people who would have been offended by this teenager using the word "adopt" in relation to a cat. There is the whole
Adopt-A-Confusion issue. But I really didn't notice her word usage until later.
Natasha and I picked out the strongest looking kitten. Then we went into the grocery store to buy cat's milk.
Love is grooming your human.
