I listed the primary Ukrainian adoption email lists here.
But there are many others. The email lists below focus on Ukrainian adoption or are of special interest to families adopting from Ukraine.

OLDER CHILDREN
**********************
OlderKids description states the email list is for families who adopted children 5 years or older. The goal is to provide support for families who adopt school-aged children. So families have joined after adopting a 4 year old child before. Some areas of the country have preschool programs provided by the school district.
OlderKids was started by a family who adopted from Ukraine. But the email list isn’t limited to a specific country.
Older_Ukrainian_Children_for_Adoption is “for those considering adopting or
have adopted an older child from Ukraine”. I believe that Dr. Kelly Conaty or his wife moderate it. They help facilitate independent Ukrainian adoptions. In return for their help, they ask for $500 to be donated to Life2Orphans. Life2Orphans is one of my favorite charities too.
I love Hannah and her Mama. A single mom adopted an older child from Russia. There is an chat board for older child adoption here.

RESEARCHING ADOPTION AGENCIES
**********************************************
If you are searching for an adoption agency, you may want to join Adoption_Agency_Research. This is also a very active email list.
The Adoption Agency Research Group was formed to help prospective adoptive parents (PAPs) in their research and selection of an international adoption agency. If you have already completed an adoption, please share your agency experience with us!
Over the past decade, international adoption has grown to a billion dollar industry, yet few safeguards exist for adoptive parents.

STATE LISTS
*********************
The state email lists all provide pre-adoption and post-adoption support. They are good places to find the BCIS office’s phone number or a good social workers’s name. Also you can find any local play groups. My daughter loves her “Eastern European Adoption Playgroup”. It is a monthly event.

If your state isn’t listed there is one more option.
Start with http://groups.yahoo.com/group/InternationalAdopt and add your 2 letter state code. If you live in Washington, then look at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/InternationalAdoptWA. Every state has an international adoption email list. These lists were created to share state information but also to advocate for international adoption.
Here are some additional post adoption email lists.
