Ukraine stopped accepting new dossiers some time between March 27 and April 1, 2007. And the US Embassy in Kyiv confirmed this shutdown on April 5. The April 5 email is at the bottom of this post for reference.

I have been enjoying Aaron's blog about his pending Ukrainian adoption. He and his wife are adopted a 2 year old and 15 year old. I am reading between the lines... it looks like Becky (the wife) did missionary work in Ukraine and met the children at an orphanage.

Their SDA appointment date is March 14, 2007.

I want to share a blog that is new to me. Markus Wolf has been living as a missionary in Ukraine for over a year now.

He has run a summer camp for orphans in Uzhgorod and has a great sense of humor.

I was searching for Ukranian adoption news stories.... Instead, I started my journey into Ukrainian Gypsy Punk Cabaret this evening. It started with a news article. I didn't even know such a category of music existed. So I had to google and check out the iTunes Store. (I have an iPod and I love it.)

The Conrad Family adopted 2 girls in December 2006. The girls are 4 years old and 2.5 years old. They don't mention if they are siblings or not.

While in Ukraine they ran into another family who is adopted a boy and girl; 3 years old and 2 years old.

The Conrads were in Ukraine 5.5 weeks.
